Fluid Image 2

3-way speakers always intrigued me: More bass, more headroom, and just the concept of more speaker within a single unit. I used to think they were a hassle, though—like I’d need to carve out a hole in the wall, run passive speaker cables, and maybe even set up a machine room. I had no idea how easy and effective it could be.

  • Found something that changed everything: When I dove into Atmos and began searching for the perfect primary left, right, and center channels, I stumbled across Fluid Audio. Honestly, I’ve always thought this brand overdelivers for its price, but when they launched the Image 2, it completely blew me away.

  • Imaging that’s hard to beat: These speakers live up to their name. The imaging is nothing short of spectacular. It's like everything is perfectly placed in space—whether I’m mixing or just listening for pleasure.

  • Low-end extension down to 40 Hz: These babies deliver some of the cleanest lows I’ve ever heard. And the highs? Transparent, crisp—no harshness, just clarity.

  • Compact size, big sound: The fact that all of this comes from a speaker with a small footprint is just insane. I feel like they’ve somehow defied the laws of physics to pack all that sound into a compact unit.

  • 30 hours to open up: They needed some time to truly break in, but once they did, I couldn’t imagine a better primary midfield/nearfield setup. They were totally worth the wait.

  • Extra features that make it even better: The digital inputs (AES/EBU and SPDIF) are a game-changer. Plus, the DSP chip that runs Sound ID for room correction? Absolute genius. My favorite feature by far, though, is the pedal switch that turns on "Mix Cube" mode—it’s like magic for mixing.

  • Value that can’t be beat: After months of using them with different converters and across various genres, I can confidently say these speakers give you more value per dollar than any deal I’ve come across in my gearhead adventures. They’re worth every cent, and then some.
